Why is my file being moved over to another Chiropractor?

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr. Brad Williamson has had to relocate. To ensure continued care, Dr. Brad has, with confidence, moved his patient files over to Cranbrook Chiropractic & Wellness Centre to ensure continued care for all his patients.

What if I don’t want to transfer my file?

As Dr. Brad Williamson has trusted his patients with our Chiropractors, we hope that you will give us a try. If you decide you’d prefer not to receive care at our office, we can discharge you as a patient and will send your file (with written permission) to any Chiropractor of your choosing.

Who is the new Chiropractor that will be treating me?

If you have already booked an appointment between now and up until April 30th, you will be seeing Dr. Kevin Roberge at the usual location. Come May 1, all patients will be coming to the Cranbrook Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic located at 1516 6th Street North. You are welcome to start coming to this office anytime before then, of course.

You are welcome to book and see any of the FOUR amazing Chiropractors that we have at our location.

Will I have to start my treatment plan over, or come in as a new patient with the new Chiropractor?

NO! We will have access to your previous chiropractic care records and therefore all treatments will be a continuation of care. Unless you have not seen Dr. Brad in the last 24 months at which time we will do a re-evaluation (NOT as a new patient), just as Dr. Brad would have done after that period of time.

Again, this is a continuation of care and appointments are SUBSEQUENT visits and NOT new patient visits.

Can I still use my extended Insurance and do you direct bill?

YES, we are set up exactly like Dr. Brad Williamson and we do direct billing for most major insurance companies along with direct billing for WCB/WSBC and ICBC. We will have your insurance information in your record if you had it previously with Dr. Brad.

Will my treatment fees change?

Our treatment fees are aligned with all other Chiropractors in the area and are less than recommended by the provincial regulatory body of Chiropractic Doctors.

How will my health records be transferred?

All records will be transferred electronically in a secure environment. All transfer are done in accordance with regulatory requirements for patient privacy. Non-Electronic (i.e. paper) files will be transported and stored securely.

Will the new Chiropractor have access to all of my health records and treatment history?

Yes, all past treatment files will be made available to your new Chiropractor.

Will I need to sign any new paperwork or agreements?

You will only be required to sign a new consent form on your first visit and any if we do any direct billing to your insurance provider, we will need you to sign your consent for that.

Will I receive the same level of expertise and experience as my previous chiropractor?

Do you offer other Services apart from Chiropractic?

Yes, we are a Multi-disciplinary Clinic that also offers Gait Analysis, Custom Orthotics, Clinical Counselling, Massage Therapy and an in-house Kinesiologist. Our Chiropractors also use adjunctive therapy as part of your Chiropractic visit.
